been scripting, and making rigs for my ocs, while also learning more of how adobe animate works.

im so new to the animation scene, im in this stage of "this is overwhelming, i should just give up" and im not sure how to deal with it. i feel alone in this

Just take it one step at a time. You'll make progress, little by little, and become more comfortable over time.

It really depends if you’re willing to get out of your comfort zone to try it. If you’re really dedicated to it you’ll step up to the plate and learn how to use it. Coincidentally, I’ve actually been trying to learn Adobe Animate as well. Though I do have experience with older versions, the modernized UI as intimidated me ALOT. But I still wanna learn it. Trust me, you got this.
